Slutterhouse – Inside the Station remix EP by Ringside Production
I am currently spending hours everyday in the studio with Vincent Vargas, working on a remix of Laurie Anderson’s new single “Only an Expert”.
I’m very excited about where this is going so stay tuned, it should be online in just a few days!
Peace,
R

Ringside Productions is looking for up to five remixes of Slutterhouse’s second single, Made in Dance. At least one Sonicbids artist is guaranteed to be in the top five. The single will be released next summer 2010 in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
If the track is commercially released, the track royalties will be split between Ringside Production (50%), Slutterhouse (25%), and the remixer (25%). If the track is picked to be distributed for free promotional use, the remixer will be paid a fixed fee of 300$.
Steps:
1- Artists can listen to Slutterhouse’s track 6 and if they feel inspired, they can submit their EPK to this listing. The vocal track of the song will be sent to them so they can start working.
2- Artists then send their mp3 to midremix@ringsideproductionl and if their creative team loves the remix, they will be marked as selected
3- If their creative team likes parts of an artist’s remix or the artistic direction an artist chooses, their status will be updated to “interested” and Ringside will be in touch and guide them in the right direction
4- Once track is selected, Ringside will send a contract detailing the conditions of their collaborations
5- After an artist signs the contract, they will send it back to us along with the .wav or .aif version of the track
They expect submitters to be as creative as possible and re-work the vocals in any way. Feel free to cut them, pitch them, distort them, use only one sentence, keep the structure as it is. Go in a different direction than the one taken in the original track, as the point of a remix is to come with an innovative version of the song.
